Pubblicata nella Gazzetta Ufficiale dell’Unione Europea il 20 giugno 2019 la direttiva 2019/983/Ue che apporta ulteriori modifiche alla direttiva 2004/37/Ce, relativa alla protezione dei lavoratori contro i rischi derivanti da un’esposizione ad agenti cancerogeni e mutageni, introducendo limiti per ulteriori cinque sostanze: cadmio, berillio, acido arsenico, formaldeide e 4,4’-metilene-nis (2-cloroanilina).
Gli stati membri hanno tempo fino all’11 luglio 2021 per conformarsi alla direttiva, sono previsti tempi di transizione per cadmio e berillio, specifici per alcuni settori, e per acido arsenico e formaldeide.
