L’ISO – International Organization for Standardadization ha modificato, mediante appositi emendamenti, agli standard relativi ai sistemi di gestione, tra i quali ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2015, ISO 50001:2018, l’attenzione al cambiamento climatico prevedendo l’obbligo per le aziende di considerarne la rilevanza dei rischi nell’analisi del contesto organizzativo e delle esigenze delle parti interessate.
In particolare le modifiche, che seguito alla Dichiarazione di Londra, in cui l’ISO si impegna a combattere il cambiamento climatico e a contribuire all’agenda sul clima, sono le seguenti:
– al punto 4.1 viene aggiunto il requisito: “L’organizzazione deve determinare quanto possano essere rilevanti i fattori legati al cambiamento climatico”.
– al punto 4.2 viene aggiunta la nota: “Le parti interessate rilevanti possono avere esigenze connesse al cambiamento climatico”.
Tali modifiche sono già applicabili e non verranno recepite con nuove revisioni degli standard.
